Computer Engineering student passionate about embedded systems, software development, and IoT. Ready to contribute, learn, and grow through hands-on internship experience.
About Me
I am a 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) student at Bicol University Polangui Campus, with a solid foundation in electronics, programming, networking, and embedded systems. I am actively seeking an OJT/internship opportunity where I can apply my academic knowledge and contribute to real-world engineering projects.
My coursework spans the full BSCpE curriculum, including Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Basic Engineering Sciences, and Allied and Professional courses. I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve practical problems and thrive in multidisciplinary team environments. I am eager to gain hands-on experience, enhance my technical and professional skills, and bring value to an organization that fosters innovation and growth.
To obtain an internship position where I can apply my knowledge in embedded systems, software development, or network engineering โ contributing to team goals while gaining the industry experience and professional skills required for engineering practice.
Expertise
Core competencies developed through the BSCpE curriculum, laboratory activities, and personal projects โ aligned with OJT requirements.
BSCpE Curriculum Alignment: Skills developed through the full Computer Engineering program at Bicol University Polangui Campus โ covering Mathematics, Natural and Physical Sciences, Basic Engineering Sciences, and Allied & Professional Courses as prescribed by CHED. Core competencies include system design, experimental analysis, data interpretation, teamwork across disciplines, and application of modern engineering tools (aligned with ABET/CHED outcomes aโl).
Work
Academic and personal projects demonstrating applied engineering competencies.
Designed and developed a personal portfolio website to showcase academic projects, certifications, laboratory activities, and skills. Built with clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript โ fully responsive and optimized for recruiter viewing on desktop and mobile.
Designed and developed a fully offline, browser-based VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masking) calculator that automatically generates complete Cisco IOS router configurations. Supports Static Routing, RIP v2, OSPF, and EIGRP with Bus/Linear and Ring topology WAN link auto-generation โ ready to paste directly into Packet Tracer.
Compiled 19 networking laboratory activities across 4 weeks using Cisco Packet Tracer. Covered network topologies, OSI & TCP/IP models, DNS & HTTP client-server interactions, TCP/UDP transport layer operations, and IP routing with static and dynamic protocols (RIP).
A 9-part Arduino-based laboratory series applying BSCpE embedded systems concepts. Covered GPIO control, sensor interfacing, ADC conversion, LCD display integration, and multi-threshold automation. Key projects include a drag race traffic light simulation, smart temperature alarm, and an integrated environmental monitoring system combining LM35, potentiometer, 3x3 LED matrix, and buzzer alerts.
Built a regulated DC power supply with transformer, rectifier, filter, and regulator stages. Tested voltage stability and implemented safety features for reliable operation.
This repository documents laboratory experiments in Computer Engineering. Starting from Boolean expressions, I constructed truth tables, designed logic circuits, simulated them in AutoCAD, simplified using Karnaugh Maps (K-map), converted designs into NAND-only implementations, and tested circuits using ICs in the lab.
Completed multiple machine problems (MPs) in Data Structures and Algorithms: Sorting algorithms (bubble, insertion, selection, merge, quick), array operations (1D and 2D), linked lists (singly, doubly, circular), and a Python simulation to detect a defective machine in a factory dataset.
Developed an offline AI prototype for tracking barangay permits with structured datasets. Designed to run locally but can be extended for online deployment, demonstrating applied AI concepts in community governance and record management.
Hands-On
Selected experiments and activities from my engineering coursework demonstrating practical skills.
Measured V, I, and R in series/parallel circuits to verify KVL and KCL. Compared theoretical vs. experimental values and computed percentage error using formal lab reports.
Designed and implemented digital circuits based on Boolean expressions. Simplified logic using Karnaugh maps, Boolean algebra, and tabular methods. Converted designs into NAND-only gate implementations and verified truth tables on breadboard.
Implemented Arduino-based experiments: smart temperature alarm with potentiometer + LCD, CLI vs GUI interaction, traffic light sequencing, and roller coaster LED patterns using for loops. Demonstrated GPIO control, PWM, and interrupt handling.
Configured VLANs on managed switches, performed VLSM subnetting, set up inter-VLAN routing and ACLs. Verified end-to-end connectivity across simulated campus topology.
Implemented fundamental data structures in C++ including linked lists, stacks, queues, and binary trees. Practiced sorting and searching algorithms, demonstrating algorithm efficiency and memory management.
Compiled weekly networking activities in Cisco Packet Tracer. Documented routing tables in Excel and configured Static Routing, RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Verified connectivity and optimized routing across multiple subnets.
Designed printed circuit boards using EasyEDA. Created schematics, routed traces, and generated Gerber files for fabrication. Tested circuits for embedded systems projects.
Built a regulated DC power supply with transformer, rectifier, filter, and regulator stages. Tested voltage stability and implemented safety features for reliable operation.
Developed an offline AI prototype for soil condition analysis using sensors and embedded logic. Designed for practical agricultural use at Polangui-Albay Institute for AI, demonstrating applied AI concepts in real-world scenarios.
